Planetary Oblongs

Martin Bläse is a silversmith, artist, master craftsman and third generation gong master. He works from his studio in northern Germany to create unique fine tuned instruments in a variety of metals.

The Bell Plates /oblongs are powerful, pure and intense. They are manufactured from bronze; hammered, fired and polished before being tuned into a specific frequency. The sound originates from tuning the plates to two frequencies (horizontal and vertical) an exact octave apart.

Oblongs are especially suited for energetic cleansing of spaces before meditation or puja and play perfectly along with gongs. These are tuned to the frequencies of the planets as calculated by Hans Cousto.
